FLAT BED SEMI-TRAILER AND CONTAINER CARRIER SEMITRAILER

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

1) DIMENSIONS
- Overall length : 12500 mm
- Overall width : 2600 mm
- Payload 40 tons

2) RUNNING GEARS
- Axles BPW type, Made in Turkey.
- Heavy duty type 3 axles group with single mounted tires each of which should be minimum 12 tons decreasing profile spindles. (3x12 Tons).
- The suspansions have to be of heavy duty type, and mechanical suspansions.
- Sturdy equalizer of central balanced type.
- Axle tyre roods (two per each axles one of which of fixed type and other of adjustable type in order to be able to the adjust axle alignment).
- Distance amoung axles has to be 1820 mm.

3) TYRES AND WHEELS
- 7 tyres per each semitrailer have to be supplied (6+1 spare tyre) and they have to be radial tubeless type and the size of 385x65x22.5 (Goodyear, Pirelli, Bridgestone, Lassa)

4) RIMS
- Disc Wheel Rims (11.75x22.5").

5) KING-PIN
- 2 inch king-pin detactable from below.
- The distance between king-pin and the front of the chassis (flat bed semitrailer) has to be 1300 -1400 mm. (or in respect of client's request).
- The height of king-pin base from ground level has to be 1250 mm. or 1350 mm.
(or in respect of client's request).

6) LANDING GEARS
- Mechanically operated with universal base plate.
- The static capacity has to be of 50 tons and the dynamic capacity has to be 24 tons.
- One side operation by means of levers with two speed system.
- The distance between king-pin and landing gears should not be less than 2.5m.
(or in respect of client's request).

7) BRAKES (WABCO)
- Of Pneumatic type with two lines.
- Hand operated parking brake.
- Air tank of minimum 80 Liters.
- Consented liquid drainage system.
- Mechanically operated three position load sensitive valve.
- Safety emergency valve, acting simultaneously on all the wheels, which is suitable to stop immediately
The semi trailer in case of accident. - According to European standards.

8) ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: - 24 Volts type.
- 7 pole plugs installed on the front of the semi trailer in safety position.
- All cables have to be screened.
- A safety shunt box has to be provided.
- Combined double rear lights including stoplights, directional indicators, number plate lights (on one side only), and triangular reflectors; two at rear. Round reflectors; five on each side and two at front. - Four amber lights on each side of the Semi trailer.

9) CHASSIS CONSTRUCTION:
- The flat bed has to lay on a special steel profile which connects the saddles.
- On the special profile proper reinforcements have to be located in the areas where the running gear,
the landing gears and king-pin sliding plate are fitted.
- The flat bed has to be covered with chequered plate (4+1=5mm thickness).

10) LOCKING SYSTEM:
- 2x20 ft and lx40 ft container carrying capacity.
- Totally 8 units trailer locks which are suitable for them.
- Jost type trailer locks (Made in TURKEY).

11) FRONT WALL
- 1600 mm height of front wall be bolt and it has to be from 4 mm thickness channeled steel plate, and for the hammock (canvas) there has to be a locked basket and a ladder.

12) REAR COVERS
- 900 mm height cover with openable 180 degree downward movement.

13) STANDART ACCESSORIES:
- Basket spare wheel carrier (lockable) for two spare wheel.
- Steel plate semi-mudguards on rear tyres with splash boards.
- Heavy duty type rear bumper.
- 60 liters drinking water tank
- Lockable Tool box 100x600x600.
- Two wheel chock carrier.
- Special reinforced PCV canvas 15x5 meter (lashing) and 8 mm radius steel rope
- Enough amount of hooks on walls, canvas rope that can easily excessive.

15) PAINTWORK AND FINISHING:
The following painting procedure has to be used;
- Previous shot- blasting of the metal surfaces (before painting process).
- Phosphatization of the entire tank semi trailer in a tunnel by means of a phosphate mist.
- Application of the antirust primers (two crossed coats) by means of zinc based primer.
- Application of two crossed hands of synthetic enamel in the client's requested RAL color,
- Drying will be in higher degree oven.
